I really want to do it but I am really scared to do it. I already bought the 10 70% accuarcy scrolls. So should I do it now or wait till I get another chance to loot a helm?

I would wait until you can get another helm chaz. Or at least another helmet. It's nice to have a backup. :D

There's 15% chance your helm goes booms. So out of 10 tries, this 15% is inevitable i guess.

Assuming my math is correct,
19.68% chance you will keep the helm if you use ten 70% scrolls.

100*(0.85)^10
Percent_Chance_All_Scrolls_Work = 100*(scroll_percent/100)^scrolls_used

Actually its not that simple. Here is the 70% Dark Scroll stats: There is 30% it will fail. If it fail it will have 50% of kaboom your item. I cant think of a fomular right now, but I dont think your fomular is correct cuz its too simple.

Well first off it doesn't indicate anything about if the scroll will work or not only if it blows up the item.

the scroll is 70% sucess with 50% explode on fail like you said.
thus it fails 30% of the time and 50% of that 30% is 15%. Therfore the likelyhood of your 70% scroll NOT blowing up your item is 85%.

Upon the first use it is a 85% chance. If it suceeds then the next is taken from that 85% so 85% * 0.85. Also equal to .85 * .85 * 100.

So the # of scrolls of course is the # of times you multiply the working percent hince the exponent.

It's always safe to just wait. When you get a chance to reloot, then I'd do it.

Neal's calcs are correct already so in english, there's little chance for all 10 scrolls to work w/o losing ur helmet :)
I do not recommend scrolling it especially that ur dex cap is high enough so a clean helmet will work well for now. If i were you with limited budget, i'd rather spend money on buying better att wg instead.
