The cake monster that drops these items is supposed to spawn near the left portal of the Ludi main map. I'm going to camp there for a while. Btw, I'm going to be looking for an above average Maple Belzet, and I"m willing to trade any other items that I find, especially the shields. =D

It is rumored that the new maple items are rather forged. For example, you will need 1500 maple leaves to upgrade L.43 items and 2000 for L.35. The leaves etc will be dropped during the event.

This is a past version of the modern Ellinia, currently only available in Korea version. It can be reached by using the Time portal in Ludibrium's Time Control Room, at the top of Helios Tower. Most of the monsters look like enormous, prehistoric versions of modern Victoria Island monsters. There is a party quest here, for characters over level 50. Upon entering the Party Quest, all party members are transformed into heroes to stop the poisoning of the forest.

And I hope they don't require us to 'collect' leaves in order to upgrade the Maple Items...what a bother...

If you are suppose to collect the leaves to upgrade the old maple weapons, how do you get the old weapons? I am sure plenty of those have gone BOOM by now and I am also sure others are sitting in the inventory of someone that has quit MS.:|

Then you have others, like me, that have a few of the old ones, but would not upgrade them since they are being used for their other, lower lvl, chars. Plus, I am sure many have scrolled them by now (and didnt go BOOM), and I am assuming if you upgrade them, they lose the the added stats from scrolling.

I want 1 maybe 2 Mage Shields and a staff for Solame.

I just wish Nexon would stop DELAYING the patch so I can get them. -.-

I've heard that if you talk to Cody, he gives you free older maple weapon depending on your class..like lama for mages, wagner for dits and so on.
Also there is a giant cake monster that appears to drop all the maple weapons:

Would anyone know if the maple items were in the data since maple 5.3? If so I can get stats and item looks modeled by yours truely.

I also want to get a topic going where you can post your drop locations to help aid other maple seekers. (I WILL NOT SLEEP TILL I FREAKING GET THE LVL 70 HAT AND EARRING!!!!) I hear you get an effect if you wear the hat and earrings while using a weapon but I don't know if that is in this version.

Okay. What is the official guild standing on KSing and item stealing during this event? I know we're a non-KS guild, but during this event, I can see it becoming very brutal in terms of stealing.

I never said I would KS, I just asked what the official posistion was. At the very least are we allowed to take SS of people who KS and steal from us during the event? That was we can post them somewhere on the forum and that was we can keep a record of guilds and members who are stealing and KSing during this time?

Just something to remenber: And to think i wasted 5 mins looking for that stupid fat cake... could have got more 10 weapons lol i only noticed the absord drop rate when by pure chance i killed 5 teddys and...boom 3 weapons.... first thing to came to my head, this is a mistake in drop rate better get all i can before they realize XD note: the maple hat i got from the quest 2 mins ago, i dont know if the letter for the quest is suposed to be rare but i got it in 20 secs or so.
