Hey there was a gameguard update today and my desktop keeps saying theres an error and to change the system option or turn off the virus vaccine... i dont no how to do that can some1 please give some advice? thank you in advance!

Could you provide a screen or a direct quote of the error message. It seems as if it is asking you to turn off your anti virus.

1: Reboot (try again)
2: Delete gameguard folder (try again)
3: Uninstall / Reinstall Maple Story (try again)

Well, lately, I've been turning off my virus definition to play MS. I have Avast!, and it has started thinking Maplestory itself is a Trojan... Each virus definition is slightly different in interface, so telling us which one you're running mught help. Someone with that could tell how to turn it off. Also, I would assume that it will get fixed eventually, someone's bound to file a complaint to that provider.

yeah i had similar problems like this when i tried to load maple on my other computer, the virus blocker software, norton, was blocking gameguard from connecting to the server and stuff like that.

i never got it fixed, and telling the software to allow maple was dificult because i didnt load maple on the administrator.
