As most of you have tested on Tespia, you have an idea of what's
coming. Basically, we implemented Ariant, the PQ, Summer Break Events,
Gachapon, Cash Shop stuff, and Level 200-related quests. In addition to
all this comes the enhanced functionality for the client (windowed
mode), game (Guild Alliance, Macros, etc), UI (Item Re-Arrangement,

As you can imagine, this is a lot of work, along with other stuff we have planned but haven't announced.

Ambitious? Yes. We said big things coming in the summer, and we mean
it. The upcoming patches are something we're all proud of and will
deliver in spades.

However, for the moment, our servers are having some technical
problems. We recently upgraded everything (which is what the big
maintenance was about yesterday), and essentially have been dealing
with it since last night. This is affecting the rankings, and some of
our internal testing, thus delaying the time we actually wanted to
open. We are working as hard as possible to fix this.

So, rather than open the game despite all this, we're going to work out
the kinks and keep you updated. Right now we're looking at about 3
hours, so please bear with us. We want to open just as much as you want
to play. =)

UPDATE: We've fixed most of the issues, still getting to the rest. This
will probably take another hour. Patch Notes should be up in a little
while in the Update Notes Forum. Sit tight.

Ariant is for low level chars and so is Ariant Coliseum.
You get to Ariant from Orbis Station, and I know you can get to Ariant Coliseum from Ariant (duh) and Hene. I have only been to a few places off of Vic Isle so far, Orbis Station, Leafre and Aqua, so I do not know if you can get to it from other places like Ludi and Orbis, like you can with CPQ.

Ariant Coliseum:
Similar to CPQ but more as a 1 v 1 type battle..ie, 2 - 6 people can enter a map and it is a free-for-all battle to win.
Upon entering the battle map, you get 50 [stones/rocks/jewels..I forget exactly what they are...LOL), and 5 bombs.
You have 10 minutes to hit, NOT KILL, the scorpions. When the HP is low enough, you use one of the 50 [stones/rocks/jewels] to 'Catch' the monster. HINT: make the [stones/rocks/jewels] a hot key!!!
If you 'Catch' at least 25 before time runs out, you get 3 points towards a Desert Chair. You also get EXP, of course, but at level 162 the EXP you get is nothing, so I didnt really pay attention to it, sorry ).
The Desert Chair is like The Relaxer, but it is white and comes with a cool Palm tree to sit under! :D The Chair heals for 40 HP and 20 MP instead of the 50 HP from The Relaxer. I just got my chair last night, so I dont know if there is another Prize you can get after that.

I already said I Like the Skill Macros (read Testing Round 3 thread for more info).

Mini Map upgrade: the main thing I have noticed is the portals look different in the Mini Map.

Party: I havent tried to see what the Search Function is, but there is a new HP Bar that shows ALL HP bars of the WHOLE party.....slight problem though...it seems to only show another party members HP when they are CLOSE to you....basically when you can see their normal HP bar above their head
You can turn off the HP Bar, BUT it auto turns back on when you come out of the Cash Shop.

Guild: We are not in a guild, so I do not know much about this part. I have seen that there is a Tab for Guild Alliance (where Party, Guild, Buddy, Blacklist, etc are). To me it reminds me of the Guild Tab, where you can see what members are on- and off-line, and I believe you have a Guild Alliance Notice (like the Guild Notice).

IF the patch isnt done by the time I get home from work, I will post SS of some of these things.

Meh, it's hard to get excited about this since I wasn't part of the tespia stuff.

Another thing I'd like to add about the maps is that nothing blinks anymore. All portals now look like blue swirls. Another thing I've noticed is that other players on the map are red dots, but buddies are blue dots, and party members are orange dots. I'm not sure what guildies are since I'm not in a guild, but I'm assuming that they have their own color too.

Oh, I can see that being useful.

nexon really does suck sometimes. ok a lot of the time. ok they might have done ONE thing right!.... nvm.....

I'd rather have them tell me that they are going to have a 24 hour patch, and then end it 5 hours early, than have them tell me it will be a 12 hour patch and have them extend it 7 hours...o_O

I wouldnt cause I wouldnt try ms till it was supposed to be over.
