After much thought I've come to the decision that my Maple training days are over. I've played for over 2 years now, and I think my strengh has capped. I no longer have the time or energy required to train, and as much as I hate to say it, my goal of reaching Bishop and earning Genesis is pretty much over as of now. My daily schedule is so bad that the little time I can spend online is a time when everyone else is either at work, school or sleeping, leaving me partnerless. My work is also very demanding, requiring a lot of physical effort, leaving my completly exausted after, often to the point that I simply come home and go straight to bed.

Since I joined Maple Story, my goal was to become a powerful player, and make some good friends. As time progressed and information about the 4th jobs was released, I changed my goal. I no longer would mearly become powerful, but I would achieve Bishop and earn Genesis, the most powerful single spell in the game. I've worked toward that goal, but now, I know it's impossible for me.

As a Jr. Master, I've been nothing but a flop. I don't have the time to assist in any of the decisions, I'm never online enough to help with the events and overall, I've contributed almost nothing. I can't even use my power to assist in Zakum anymore. I lack the leadership of Pauline, the orginization skills of Kat and the dedication of Mia. Even Bilbo and Spike have passed me by, leaving me the weakest and most absent of all the Jrs.

I won't be quitting Maple altogether, and I'll certainly train when I can find a partner and a Hime channel, but for the most part, I'm not gonna get any better.

Can I have your character?

It was good to know you, and I'm sorry that you have to end your training which you worked so hard for. I wish you the best of luck in the future, and, hey, maybe you'll still reach Bishop one day. :)

If it gets to the point that the guild requires my character, and I cannot play it, I'll give my log in information to the Guild Masters.

No one expects maple story to take over your life. If you don't want to train don't train. Just take time to enjoy other aspects of the game while your playing.

Both Leah and I are both slow levelers, we have yet to reach lvl 100 and started playing when bellocan was new. (we got the genesis bandanas to prove it)

Overall just take it easy, if you arn't enjoying it then I don't blame you for not wanting to do it.

yea dude i never level its ok. but i think the guild likes having you there but if you dont have time done feel bad we all have our own lives and there comes a point for all of us, *but fangblade* that maple just may not be important anymore. o wells but yea come say hi every now and then =)

I hear ya Jeff, I haven't been on much recently either due to spending time with the family before I go back to college.
Lvls 100~120 are the really hellish lvs due to being so close yet so far from 4th job. :smiley48:
Just don't give up on your dream, though you might have to put it on a bit of a hold for now.
