Well as u guys know i havent been on for a while in ms. but after this patch i tried getting on ms but i get the error number 114 (An error occured while resetting GameGuard. Please try rebooting the system before restarting the client, or close all programs that may potentially collide with the client before restarting. We also recommend running virus / spyware checks for your system)

Idk whats the problem...theres no program that I installed that would affect Maple Story.

Try restarting the comp. That fixed it for me.

Well, if you have already restarted your computer and that still didn't fix it. I'd suggest UNINSTALLING and REINSTALLING MS. That's what I would do anyways.

Let's see if anyone else has any other idea. Sis, any other suggestion?

I used to get many errors when my pc was infected. Run virus/spyware scan to make sure. I recommend Norton internet security.

GameGuard problem normally related to antivirus or spywares. Re-install MS is first action you should take. Update your AV then scan your system ( you need to do this often anyway). Good luck.

Lol if he can do step 4, he wont have to ask us here. I like your steps 5 and 6.

Since MS just got a patch, over-write your previous version might contain hidden problem. MS is 1 gig file and it takes about 20-40 mins to download. It has been days since his MS is down, downloading one shouldnt be big deal. After each patch, its still best to download newest client.

@ Dr4gon: What is your O/S? If its Vista, it might related to your Windows Live OneCare. If its XP, it might related to your AV. You can test it by temperary disable your AV then run MS. Your MS is thinking your AV or any spyware you have are hacking programs or keyloggger. MS wont run if you have any of those. Also you should update your graphic card driver. If you dont know how to do any of these steps, let us know. We will give you more detail how to do it. Good luck.

No, actually I rebooted comp, and it still didnt work so i went through Virus check, and it didnt work so I went to firewall and decreased the firewall level and it worked. ^^ I remember my internet working because the firewall was so strong...
