ps. in ne 1 thinks that's my pw it isn't, and yes i just got skilz for thinking of sweet words on the spot.

Sometimes hard to remember

but for example

PW: Cursayer

Houber acc:

ID: Tenka
PW: dragokay
Pin: 3482

*Note* These are example Accounts, they dont work *Note*

But all my acounts r unique
So its hard to get 2/7 of em...

Which still puzzels me on how Sin did it

I am an avid Basiler and do A LOT of Trading, so naturally i went on a hunt to investigate this situation. I have posted this Topic on about 5 sites (including Maple-Radio) and ...Nobody has heard of this
I seriously doubt that someone could get your personal info just from Trading and this is why i am posting this. Trading is an integral part of MS and we dont need to be in fear of trading other people.

Anyway, here's what i found:
* If someone DID design a way to do this, the person probably wouldn't need to trade you to do it. It would be really advanced hacking, and be a million times more trouble than it's worth. There is just the packet editing thing that lets the hacker automatically accept the trade (so you 'show' any item and it gets traded without you clicking trade).
** Edititing packets would result in a nice IP ban Nexon keeps record of where the information is coming from blocking your STATIC IP from maple!) ...packet editing is editing the data that you send to the server, so its like tricking/changing the info that you send into the server.
*** Anyway packets are encrypted and there won't be any packets to alter for this so called "Trade Hacking" because its on the server, not on the client.
**** It cannot exist just for the mere fact that trading takes part on the server not on the client. Getting your account info from a trade is like getting STD's just by "talking" to someone over the phone
***** ....in other words, Don't worry about trade hacks. You have about the same chance that a truck will run you over while you're in your house playing maple.
****** Trade hacking is near impossible because you are forcing the nexon servers to receive packets that confuse it into thinking that it is the victim's confirmation. But like I said before, some one who can accomplish this wouldn't waste their time on a game like maple.
******* in order for a trade hack to happen youd have to server hack which is against the law, also your job would have to be hacking to be that good at it

It also seems that this type of advanced hack (if it truely exists) would take at least about a half hour to gain all the info and as much as up to a week LOL



Personally, the ONLY way I know how to get hacked is by freely giving out your acc't info to people (which is a definite no-no).
The other main hacking possibility is through keyloggers if you download programs that key log you, like most hacking tools, or meso farming sites.

Good point Jeremy. I have done some researches on my own regarding this issue, and I found that it's next to impossible for someone to trade hack another player. However, I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt...
