Funny, I heard that this was added to KMS, then removed soon after due to Taylor's concern.

Any proof that kms got rid of it? Not to be unbelieving but i really hope it is true and want to see it lol.

i'm assuming the key tweak is the level diff
for example disable or significantly lower exp share for party members 10 levels and below

That would be a much better solution than KMS' formula. That one pretty much decimated the amount of EXP spread across the party. I don't have solid proof that KMS got rid of it though, just by word of mouth.

Hmm the lvl thing probably wouldn't affect my bishop and nl leeching. Applying more level weight would slow down stuff like harps leech and jester and boss leech obviously.

Might make fire koc mages better for leeching on things like harps, since 120 max level.

They did get rid of it.

And it is based on the damage done by each player to the target.

Certain maps get clogged with leechers and leeches. [probably not a word.. o_o]

I was under the impression that what Martin said was the case.

Hopefully, whatever the implement in GMS is something more like Bilbo's idea.

It seems that any attempt to discourage leech + 3x exp card would be an attempt to encourage to training.

Although I sort of agree with "they are all the same levels", the experience isn't the same per job. It always did rub me the wrong way to see a fanatical player get 1 high-level character, and then use that character to leech up all of that person's other characters.

Bring a 'leech machine' isn't a good reason to continue a job. Multiple people have told me that they will be quitting their bishop/AM when the leech system is broken because "there is no point in having a bishop/AM if it can't sell leech."

I don't mean to start any sort of flame war, but I wanted to add my 2 cents.
