| I tried to download the new patch v0.80 but it thought it was a virus, so the last 2 days i have tryed to reinstall it... but my auntie is 100% sure that maplestory is a VIRUS!!!! (that means she keeps closing the downloads... which is making me mad) i am tryin my best to get the game reinstalled... but... this is just stupid. why does AVG think maplestory is a virus? |

| upgrade to 9.0 avg. faster way to do this is uninstall the old avg and go install the new one then tell it to ignore maplestory |

| It has something to do with an anti hacking thing Nexon recently implemented so that the code couldn't be edited or like stopping people from looking at the code if I remember right. Anyways that security looks to AVG like a possibly threat since it blocks anything from messing with it. I probably don't have it all right, but that is kind of the basic idea. |

| Open up AVG -> Tools -> Advanced Settings -> PUP Exceptions -> Maplestory.exe
