Okay, so I have a 114att 9str unhammered Night Raven Wing. I'm wanting to go 1h with a Reverse Executioners and either scroll my Gellerhead, maker a shield and scroll that, or buy one. I was wondering, how much att on the shield should I have for it and the Reverse Executioners, combined, to be equivalent or stronger than the NRW? The Executioners, I'm figurin, should have these stats :

111/112att (Maker sometimes adds an att on)
3str
2dex ( or throw in a speed booster since Oblivion 4 requires just speed and hammer, help me decide)

The answers I'm looking for exactly are :
1 : What att shield would I need
2 : How much would that cost
3 : Why did the chicken cross the road?
4 : What att shield would be needed for both better DPM and DPH rather than just the NRW (I'm not sure how to word this)
5 : Add any comments as needed

Are you looking for what would make you hit more in a single hit, or damage per minute?

i think dee is asking about dpm. For that DPM you need about a 10-14 attack shield to make up for your shield.

ant a stat hore. you dont need 23 extra attack to surpass 2 handed even tho your 2handed sword is fat 5. ill let you try my sheild with a 1handed sword you have and let you see the different.

114 NRW + 26 extra attack, is what he told he told me he has in game.


therefore 140 x 1.1450 = 160.3 -> Round down to 160


160 - 26 = 134 -> Total w.att needed with sworld+shield to match in DPS.


134 - 111 = 23 extra attack needed to match in terms of DPS after subtracting RE att.


This doesn't mean he needs a 23 attack shield, only 23 TOTAL attack more to match in DPS. He can easily scroll for 12+ attack not to mention leveling the RE, and a shield can easily boost the 1h/shield combo to beat the 114 NRW in DPS.


P.S: I'm not a stat hoe f4

I thought 3-4 str = 1att F4 including str-to-att, I would need a far less amount of att. Let's see...

58str...which is roughly 58 divided by 3 or 4, which is roughly...

For 3-to-1 = 19att
For 4-to-1 = 14att

So therefore I'd need 4 or 9 more att on?

Because str is a constant and you're only changing the att.

The reason I used those multipliers is because of the attack speed of the swords and whether they were 1h or 2h.

the NRW is a fast-5 speed and 2h, therefore has a high multiplier because of it's natural 2h-ness(lol) and most 2hs are normal-6 speed, so since the NRW is fsat-5 it has an advantage.

The differences between speed and DPM are much more visible at a boss say, BF.

Like before I sold my RK, I was doing 5 min kills on BF with my RK, which is one speed higher than the RE. After Selling my RK and using the RE instead, I was doing 5 min 30~45 secs. Even though the range I had with both swords were roughly the same, give or take 50ish range~

sheilds have str ant and swords might have more str then before. each 5 str = 1 Watt

So str would matter a little here? O: cuz if it does it saves me tons of money on my car insurance with Geico... jk but it would save me money on buying a high att shield/using fail 60% on reverse

str has a very small affect on the end result, probably by an att of 1~2, because the shield will add extra str.

Well I've made my Executioners. 111att 3str (no money for advanced power)

Hm... L>guesstimation on how much att on the shield i should have... Also str if anything. ( I might just trade NRW for 10att fence f2)

if you do get a 10 att shield

you just need to land 7+ 60's to outdps the NRW, which should be easy if you use Vega's, not to mention the sword can also lvl up, giving you attack, so probably 6 60's needed to hit.
