| Dear Maplers, MapleStory will be going through a scheduled maintenance Wednesday, March 2nd, 2010 starting at 10 PM Pacific Time. Please be aware that, as part of a network-wide maintenance, all web features will be unavailable. This will affect the ability to access all game servers, as well as the MapleStory website. The maintenance should last approximately 11 hours. Server: All Servers The Following Services Will Be Unavailable: MapleStory website NX Cash services Time: Pacific: Tuesday, March 2, 10:00 PM – Wednesday, March 3, 9:00 AMEastern: Wednesday, March 3, 1:00 AM – Wednesday, March 3, 12:00 PM The following bugs have been fixed: - The issue with stuns and freezes not working has been fixed. - Using a Dimensional Mirror will no longer disconnect the player. - Players should now be able to view all characters when Web Launching. | I don't think the like the fact there was 8x during the 2x event and most likely trying to fix the code to prevent that in the future.

I just wish they wouldn't keep pushing forth these crap nx items and at least put some effort in fixing the problems that the patches are causing. This is not the first time so I wonder why the staff seems a bit incompetent? Or since I'm not a programmer, I seem a bit harsh.. |

| It is not that they are incompetent. It is the fact that they test/simulate the new code they wrote/over wrote/ replaced in a debug program. In Debug mode it works. In the test server, it works.
The time comes when they make it live and then "Murphy's Law" kicks into full effect. So many more variables come into play.
People that say that "Nexon Fail's" this and that should take into account what "Nexon" has to deal with.
You try running a multi million dollar company in a recession with hundreds of peoples jobs on the line and get all departments functioning together.
It's not just 5 programmers running the show.
Sorry to rant, but from a programmers point of view, it's not as easy as making Ichiban Soup.
